Special Thanks to Our Volunteers

A shout out to WINGS volunteers who gave financially during COVID-19 because they weren’t able to volunteer their time as they normally would do. It is estimated that 13,000 volunteer hours valued at $364,740 was lost due to COVID-19.

Special Thanks to Our Donors

A shout out to in-kind donors who gave financially during COVID-19 because they weren’t able to hold donation drives, as well as for using the WINGS Amazon Wish List as an alternative to donation drives.

Children have been able to go to school and feel proud of their new insulated lunch bag, water bottle or snack container. These items make the children feel like they are equal to their peers and they do not have to feel embarrassed by not being able to afford basic items. When children do not have to worry about being laughed at or bullied over these basics, they have more time to focus on forming relationships and studying.
