WINGS Survivor Lifeline program pairs compassionate volunteer mentors with survivors moving out of domestic violence shelters. This past year, Survivor Lifeline expanded into Chicago, matched 84 survivors with mentors, and provided 1,267 hours of mentoring. WINGS Survivor Lifeline program was created to be scalable and replicable. In the near future, WINGS has plans to further expand the program into the city of Chicago. As Survivor Lifeline expands, WINGS searches for more volunteer survivor mentors, especially mentors that are fluent in Spanish.
