Starting Midnight Friday, April 25th, WINGS 40 Hours of Giving event challenges teams of supporters to come together to raise funds for the Spreading Our WINGS Campaign. This initiative is expanding our award-winning services to meet the increased needs we are seeing for domestic violence solutions and expand into new communities.

Brain injury is often an overlooked consequence of domestic violence. March is Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) awareness month and over the past year, WINGS has embarked on one of the first of its kind collaboration to improve access to care for survivors recovering from head injuries in the Chicagoland area.

Hosted by The Chicago Bar Association, WINGS Program, Inc., The Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, the Domestic Violence Summit had a full day of expert speakers including, the Domestic Violence Summit welcomed activists Denise Brown and Mark Wynn, and others.
