WINGS Program, Inc. announces its 25th Annual Purple Tie Ball, set to transform the Westin Hotel in Rosemont into an enchanted garden on Saturday, October 4th, starting at 6:00 PM. This year’s event will shine a spotlight on Domestic Violence Awareness Month and award the prestigious David K. Hill Award to a remarkable WINGS graduate.

WINGS Survivor Lifeline program pairs compassionate volunteer mentors with survivors moving out of domestic violence shelters. This past year, Survivor Lifeline expanded into Chicago, matched 84 survivors with mentors, and provided 1,267 hours of mentoring. Learn about a healing event participants experienced, a mentor’s perspective on why she continues to volunteer, and an upcoming educational event.
