Last year WINGS 2,328 volunteers donated 64,153 hours of service, the equivalent of 31 full-time employees! As April is National Volunteer Month, volunteers share why they support WINGS, the largest domestic violence agency in Illinois.

Brain injury is often an overlooked consequence of domestic violence. March is Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) awareness month and over the past year, WINGS has embarked on one of the first of its kind collaboration to improve access to care for survivors recovering from head injuries in the Chicagoland area.
