WINGS has opened the Foglia Family Resource Center (FFRC), a state-of-the-art counseling center for survivors of domestic violence. The FFRC will provide free domestic violence services and expand community counseling services to adults, teens, and child survivors.

Each year, WINGS Holiday Store provides survivors of domestic violence with gifts for themselves and their children. Through donations from the agency’s community of supporters, this year WINGS Holiday Store provided 1,364 gifts to 115 families. As survivors arrived to select their gifts, many special moments warmed the hearts of those present. As we start a new year filled with numerous challenges, we hope you can pause to feel the joy as well.

As youth continue to enter WINGS Safe Houses with alarmingly higher levels of trauma, WINGS compassionate Children’s Advocates remain dedicated to providing the most effective interventions and receive the latest trainings. Child Parent Psychotherapy, for the youngest survivors ages zero to five, builds bonds between parents and young children.

Children, so often invisible in the discussion around domestic violence, are at an incredible risk of depression, drug use and even being part of a domestic violence situation themselves. WINGS Children and Family Services Program serves these invisible victims by addressing the root issues and breaking the cycle of violence.
