Virtual Workout Class for WINGS
July 15 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
The WINGS Metro Associate Council invites you to join a donation-based workout class to support survivors of domestic violence during this time of increased need.
Our bootcamp, led by instructor, Gabbie, will be a hybrid bootcamp featuring fun Spanish dance music and traditional bootcamp moves (squat jumps, lunges, an awesome calf workout and crazy core moves that you may not have experienced before). Between exercises, she’ll have you on your feet dancing. The session welcomes all levels of experience.
About our instructor: Gabbie changed careers at the age of 42 to follow her passion for motivating people to achieve a better way of life and put themselves first. Have you ever been to a wedding where you danced all night and didn’t even realize how many calories you burned because you were having so much fun?! THAT is how she wants every one of her classes to feel!
In this time of stay-at-home guidelines and sheltering protocols, we’re reminded that home is not always the safest place for everyone — increases in reports of domestic violence have been noted nationwide during the COVID-19 crisis. WINGS Program, Inc., operating in locations throughout Illinois for the past 35 years, works to provide housing, integrated services, education and advocacy to end domestic violence.
All donations from this class will directly benefit families by funding the services, items and access to shelter they need to reach safety and recovery.
A minimum $10 donation is requested, with several options to provide additional support for those interested and able. An email with the Zoom link for class will be sent 24 hours prior to the event.
