A New Direction (AND) Beverly Morgan Park was founded in 2011 to provide counseling, education, support and advocacy to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. AND became a program of WINGS Program, Inc. in July 2022.

Advocacy
Although the experience of domestic violence in Beverly Morgan Park is NOT unique in dynamics – physical, emotional, verbal, spiritual, and economic, a successful advocacy response must be exceptional in design and implementation in order to address and meet the specific demographic needs and realities of victims.
In order for victims to extract themselves from abusive relationships – to move beyond victimhood to survival and emerge as community guides – we must meet those victims where they are at that moment in time.
A New Direction can assist victims with an individualized, critical, culturally competent, and comprehensive community response to address their basic needs for housing, education, child support, and civil legal advocacy.
