Each year, WINGS Holiday Store provides survivors of domestic violence with gifts for themselves and their children. Through donations from the agency’s community of supporters, this year WINGS Holiday Store provided 1,364 gifts to 115 families. As survivors arrived to select their gifts, many special moments warmed the hearts of those present. In domestic violence relationships, the presence of a gun in the home increases the risk of homicide by 500%. This year, closing the boyfriend loophole, gun legislation, and domestic violence was addressed in federal legislation for the first time in decades.

This coveted designation from one of America's leading non-profit evaluators reflects WINGS ongoing commitment to accountability, transparency and financial strength. WINGS has also earned Candid's Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level, and the Better Business Bureau’s Accredited Charity process.
