This holiday season, you can bring safety, dignity, and joy to survivors of domestic violence in your community. Here are 5 impactful ways you can help survivors served by WINGS.

  1. Make a Donation

WINGS is the largest provider of domestic violence services in Illinois, serving 1,434 survivors last year, including 571 children.

Made Bed with stuffed animalsThe need for domestic violence services continues to grow. According to a recent report from The Network who oversees the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline, in 2025 the agency received 69,748 contacts. This represents an 181% increase since pre-pandemic 2019.

Last year, WINGS provided 126,550 nights of shelter and safe housing, made possible in part by generous donations from our community of supporters.

Your holiday donation helps WINGS continue providing high-quality services to survivors and expand them to meet the growing need.

  1. Donate to WINGS Holiday Store

Everyone deserves to feel special around the holidays…especially families who have endured the trauma of domestic violence.

This holiday season we are collecting new, unwrapped gifts for child and adult survivors.

Your donations allow survivors to select gifts for their loved ones in a free, store-style experience created just for them.

With your support, every family can experience the dignity and joy of giving and receiving thoughtfully chosen gifts.

Gifts are being accepted now through December 4th.
