Denise Brown, sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, has written a new book blending her memoir, biography, and passages from Nicole’s journals. The book, For My Sister Nicole, shares warning signs and explains how friends, family, and community can respond effectively for survivors.
Approximately 45 guests enjoyed an afternoon of fashion, conversation, and community. Lafayette 148 (Oak Street, Chicago) is donating 10% of all sales from Thursday (10/15/26) through Sunday (10/18/26) to WINGS comprehensive services to survivors.
Creating Visibility for Domestic Violence
As a global lifestyle brand led by women, Lafayette 148’s partnership with WINGS represents something beyond financial support: the power of respected brands using their platform to bring greater visibility to domestic violence.
“Every time a respected brand like Lafayette 148 chooses to stand alongside our mission, it helps move the conversation about domestic violence into new spaces,” Rebecca Darr, WINGS President and CEO shares. “These partnerships are about more than fundraising. They’re about awareness, education, and building a community that recognizes domestic violence affects people across every socioeconomic background.”
