Basket of Kindness – 99-Year-Old Donor Knits Hats for WINGS Children

99-year-old Ada Spanier knits hats for children in need. “I only give hats to the children who have no other source for Christmas and pleasure,” Ada says.
This Holiday season WINGS was the lucky recipient of a basket full of hats. For Ms.Spanier, knitting isn’t just a hobby, nor does she knit for family, but only to help those in need.
Ms. Spanier’s kind gesture warmed the hearts of many at WINGS when a large basket of hats for children at our shelter came in on a recent afternoon.
