A DREAM COME TRUE - WINGS Opens Foglia Family Resource Center

Years ago, WINGS Director of Children and Family Services Beth shared her dream: to expand the program beyond WINGS housing programs and be able to serve children from the community.

“Here at WINGS, my dream came true,” Beth announced at the Foglia Family Resource Center’s Open House.

WINGS Foglia Family Resource Center (FFRC) came to fruition due to generous funding from public and private sources: the Foglia Family Foundation, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, and the Cook County’s Justice Advisory Council.

The FFRC provides a wide range of free, trauma-informed support services to meet the needs of adult, teen, and child survivors of domestic violence.

The spaces are designed to be comfortable and welcoming. There are individual and group counseling rooms as well as a meditation room with low lights, yoga mats and relaxing sounds.

Services are offered in English and Spanish as well as virtual or in-person.
