Committed to maintaining high quality facilities, WINGS recently received funding from Congressman Sean Casten (6th District) to make upgrades to the Suburban Safe House. View Suburban Safe House updates and pictures.

In addition to fresh paint, these funds allowed WINGS to separate some of the larger rooms. This allows families to not have to share rooms and operate at full capacity.

Separate rooms for each household increases:

*privacy during an emotional time,

*security over survivors’ personal items,

*accommodations for a family’s needed quiet times, and more.

New Children’s Playroom

Thank you to Bright Horizons Foundation for Children for generously donating a new toys, furniture, and more to create an amazing playroom at our Suburban Safe House. As a result, children staying in our Safe House are sure to have fun, bond with family, and use their imagination in this updated space.
